Earth Day at North Rose Hill Woodlands Park

  • North Rose Hill Woodlands Park 9930 124th Avenue Northeast Kirkland, WA, 98033 United States (map)

Join the Green Kirkland Partnership and EarthCorps on Earth Day to help restore the natural areas at North Rose Hill Woodlands Park. Volunteers will spend the morning doing a mix of restoration activities which may include removing aggressive invasive species like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry, spreading mulch over cleared areas, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground covers.  No experience is necessary and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us!

Register to Volunteer on the EarthCorps website.

What to Bring Please dress for the weather (layers are encouraged and rain gear is a must this time of the year), wear close-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a filled water bottle and snacks to munch on. Tools, training and coffee will be provided.

Meeting point: Look for the Green Kirkland and EarthCorps event signs. This event will meet at the gazebo near the northern entrance to the park off of NE 100th ST.

Parking is available on the street at NE 100th ST.
